New for Christmas 2021 are these Dual White Solar Christmas Lights – Icicles with 100 LED’s and a 2m cable which links to the solar panel.
The length of the string containing the LED’s is 4m. It comes with a USB which means when days are overcast you can plug in the USB to a laptop computer or where you have a USB port and it will charge fully within 3 hours and then you can pop this back into the Solar Panel and your icicles will light that same evening.
Also available with 300 LEDs under code SC2122.
They are designed in the UK and tested with our weather system.. They are also despatched from the UK too.
The USB can be detached from the light string and panel and the control tube can be plugged into the mains to charge up. Dependant upon the weather you should get up to 8 days run time from a single USB full charge. It also has an 8 hour auto off switch timer.
The Dual White can be set to white, warm white or a blended white colour..
They turn on automatically it gets dark and off automatically by dawn.
They have an on/off switch so you can turn them off whenever you want.
They have 4 lighting modes for each of the three colour temperatures. This works at the press of a button.
The Dual White gives you an outdoor feel from ice white to a warm white vintage glow or you can try a blended white colour. For example if white is silver and warm is gold then the blended white colour would look similar to platinum.
The mounting options include a stake mount and a deck/wall mount for the solar panel.
Everything you need is in the box and no need for any wiring.
The string is clear and the USB tube and 3w solar panel are a light anthracite grey.
The Dual White LEDs don’t just change colour, they are brighter and more efficient.
The tube design is waterproof and the battery compartment, power switch, mode switch and USB charging port are all protected under an O-ring sealed screw cap which offers bottle tight waterproofing.
Both the solar panel and LED string are connected into the base of the tube using O-ring sealed valve connectors so there are no weak points.
There is a power saving mode which is ideal if you don’t have a great solar panel location available and aren’t able to USB charge. This advanced power saving mode reduces brightness slightly which doubles the runtime of the lights.
The kit is a 3 piece system consisting of the solar panel, control tube and light string. The solar panel is connected to the control tube by a 2m cable and there is 2m of cable between the control tube and the first LED bulb on the light string.
The system offers 4 lighting modes in each of the three colours.
1.). All lights on.
2). Slow flash.
3). Slow fade.
4). Mode cycle.
Once you have selected the mode you want, it will remember that setting and light up in that mode automatically each night.

Installation
Unscrew the cap on the control tube and charge it via USB using the supplied cable. While your tube is charging, place your
fairy lights and install your solar panel in a unshaded location within 2m of your lights. Once the the charging light turns
green, slide the switch into the S position, take the tube outside and connect your light string and solar panel. Your lights
will turn on automatically at dusk.

How it works
During the day the sun’s rays are absorbed by the solar panel which sends that energy to the battery inside the control tube
where the energy is stored. After dark the battery powers the USB Solar Fairy Lights. They have been designed to
work year-round using solar power alone, but you can also fully charge the battery quickly at any time by using a USB charging
device such as your computer or a USB wall plug adapter.
