The Litecharga Solar Bollard Light is a 160mm diam. bollard with anti glare, frosted white polycarbonate lens. It is designed to look similar to a standard, mains commercial bollard light. At dusk, the solar bollard light will illuminate at full brightness, and then follow a gradual dimming sequence until it reaches 30% brightness after 5 hours. From then on it will remain at 30% until dawn. As a result, battery charge is retained for longer than other alternatives sequences. Even in the dullest of weather, our solar lights will still illuminate, although they may not last the entire night cycle, which in many cases is not a necessity. The on/off switch is concealed by a waterproof plug which is also much less noticeable. Mount this solar bollard via the internal mounting flange, which in completely concealed within the streamlined bollard.

Epistar LED chips (1.8W) generate a high lumen output with up to 50,000 hours life. This solar powered bollard incorporates a substantial monocrystalline solar panel and replaceable LifePO4 lithium battery. As a result, optimum charge levels are maintained.

The Litecharga is an ideal solar path light or solar driveway light. It is both simple and safe to install, with endless mounting positions, in comparison to mains fittings. Not only is solar lighting environmentally friendly, converting natural energy into electrical current it is also  completely free to run.

Dimming Sequence & Active Smart Power System

The Litecharga uses intelligent time controllers, calibrated to the UK climate, to prolong battery life without compromising on brightness levels. These time controllers operate a gradual dimming sequence to maintain a brighter light when it is needed most, in the early hours of darkness, and a less bright light when it is needed less, often in the early hours of the morning. In addition, the Litecharga’s Active Smart Power System (ASPS) further reduces light emission when the battery voltage is low, resulting in longer-lasting light functionality.
