Pole Spot Solo – 12v – 316 Stainless Steel MR16 IP65 Spotlight

Elipta’s E6311S 12v Pole Spot Solo is a single pole-mounted outdoor spike spotlight ideal for up lighting trees and taller
shrubs from amongst medium-height planting, spotlighting features at ground level or washing light across a lawn, path
or gravel area. Fully adjustable knuckle joint, IP65 rated and prewired with twin core 1.5mm HO7 RNF rubber cable.

Also available in Black, Rustic Brown and Copper.

There is space inside the spotlight body to fit an E4010 honeycomb glare louvre or a clip-on MR16 frosted lens or colour
filter accessory onto the front of the lamp. A flush glass  lens sheds water and leaf litter and is easy to clean.
30cm extension stems are available to increase the total height to 70cm or 1m, for which the E6002 High-stability Ground
Spike is recommended.

Pole Spot Solo is supplied with a 30cm poly carbonate spike mount, which can be removed and replaced by a surface/deck mount R3510B and the high-stability E6002 Tri-Spike which provides firm positioning in loose soils order required mount separately.

Lamp Colour (Kelvins) 

The colour of a lamp is defined as a measurement called kelvins. A standard GLS light bulb in your house would be 2,700
kelvins which is in the warm colour spectrum and a lamp with 5,000 kelvins would be at the very cold white spectrum.

Choosing the style of a product is only part of the equation you must also think of where that product will be used and how
it will be installed. All exterior lighting products on our web site have an IP rating appropriate to each light fitting
and its intended application and is therefore fit for purpose. Water ingress is the enemy for outdoor lighting and the
products supplied are only as good as the installation. The weakest point is always cable joints. All joints must be
made 100% watertight and this can be done using IP68 cable connectors and/or waterproof junction boxes which are then
filled with a re-enterable liquid gel mix. All joints where possible should be made above ground for easy access and
reduced water ingress. When installing ground buried lights adequate drainage systems should be put in place especially
in clay-based soil areas. If possible, use ground surface spike lights rather than a buried light.  Care must be
taken with the cable runs and not to install transformers more than 30 metres away from the furthest fitting to avoid
any voltage drop. Cabling should be 2 core Rubber HO5RN-F or HO7RN-F and not PVC. PVC leads to capillary action over
time especially with UV degradation. Always check the correct type of transformer you need for your fittings. We recommend
wiring in parallel with Toroidal AC and LED DC drivers. But when using Milliamp mA LED drivers, they should always be
wired in series. Plug and Play kits are simply a case of daisy chaining the fittings via plug and play junction boxes,
connectors and extension cables using a 2-pin plug arrangement. 

All exterior lights must be installed by a certified NIC EIC electrician and should be signed off by an electrician with
