Pergolux – 240v Hanging Light – Natural Copper – Maximum 35w MR16 – IP54 – 3 Colour Choices
The ‘Pergolux’ is a beautiful hanging light in 240v or 12v options with a protective clear 60mm tempered glass lens. This
fixed lens at the end of the cylindrical body makes the hanging garden spotlight more weatherproof (IP54) than many others
available, and is ideal for anywhere in the garden where light is required from above, such as seating areas, tree branches
or BBQ areas. Once illuminated, the hanging spotlight provides a beam that disperses outwards and downwards.
Others finishes – – Satin Silver £43.20 –
Brown Powder Coated Aluminium. £43.20
The Pergolux also looks great as an ornamental landscape light during daylight hours, especially in traditional copper. Garden
lights made from natural copper will weather organically over time to create a mottled effect that blends in with outdoor
materials such as brick, plants and tree bark. After longer periods of time a ‘verdigris’ effect may be present.
Lumena recommend an LED bulb to reduce running and maintenance costs due to the bulb’s long lifespan and low wattage. The
LED GU10 can be fitted / replaced easily by unscrewing the one screw at the top of the cylindrical body. For instant
coloured lighting effects why not fit a removable coloured dichroic lens inside the light Available in a variety of colours from our accessories sub category louvres & filters.
The installation of this landscape light is made easier with a handy 5m of waterproof cable, meaning less cable joins and
more choice on the position of the light fitting. The fixed hanging ring at the top of the light can be used with a length
of chain if desired.
Lamp Colour (Kelvins)
The colour of a lamp is defined as a measurement called kelvins. A standard GLS light bulb in your house would be 2,700 kelvins
which is in the warm colour spectrum and a lamp with 6,000 kelvins would be at the very cold white spectrum.
240v Installation
All exterior lighting products on our website have an IP rating which is explained further in our Technical Help/Products section
but in simple terms the IP rating is appropriate to each light fitting and its intended application and is therefore
fit for purpose. Water ingress is the enemy for outdoor lighting and the products supplied are only as good as the
installation as the weakest point is always cable joints. All joints must be made 100% water tight and this can be
done using IP68 inline connectors, waterproof junction boxes which are then filled with a resin or gel mix. All joints
where possible should be made above ground for easy access and reduced water ingress. When installing ground buried
lights adequate drainage systems should be put in place especially in clay based soil areas.
