Navigator Maxor 12v DC Copper Recessed Deck Light 2700k 1w 101 Lumens IP65Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
The Navigator Maxor is the largest recessed LED light in a family of three sizes used to outline a deck or paving, light steps
or provide cool up-lighting from the Navigator group of fittings.
The E3321WW is a low energy, warm white LED deck and recessed light which consumes a small amount of power and stays cool to
the touch. The warm white 1.5w LED produces a wide 80° beam diffused by the 28mm diameter frosted lens to provide soft
lighting compatible with the colour of halogen garden lighting. Navigator Maxor are used either to mark out the shape
of a deck, patio or terrace, to outline paths and to light steps. To outline a deck or patio space with a distinctive
shape, start at the corners of the decking or paving and space led recessed garden lights at about 1 – 1.5m apart. Also available in cool white code E3321W or Stainless Steel codes E3311W-N or E3311WW.
12v 1.5w: NAVIGATORS should be powered by 12v dc power supply. Do not use an electronic transformer to power Navigator LED
lights. If powering from a 12v ac wire-wound transformer, ensure transformer is loaded to at least 75% of nominal rating.Â
Please note that the B9403N DC 15w transformer will only accommodate up to 8 of these fittings.  MUST BE WIRED IN PARALLEL

Choosing the style of a product is only part of the equation you must also think of where that product will be used and how
it will be installed. All exterior lighting products on our web site have an IP rating appropriate to each light fitting
and its intended application and is therefore fit for purpose. Water ingress is the enemy for outdoor lighting and the
products supplied are only as good as the installation. The weakest point is always cable joints. All joints must be
made 100% watertight and this can be done using IP68 cable connectors and/or waterproof junction boxes which are then
filled with a re-enterable liquid gel mix. All joints where possible should be made above ground for easy access and
reduced water ingress. When installing ground buried lights adequate drainage systems should be put in place especially
in clay-based soil areas. If possible, use ground surface spike lights rather than a buried light. Care must be
taken with the cable runs and not to install transformers more than 30 metres away from the furthest fitting to avoid
any voltage drop. Cabling should be 2 core Rubber HO5RN-F or HO7RN-F and not PVC. PVC leads to capillary action over
time especially with UV degradation. Always check the correct type of transformer you need for your fittings. We recommend
wiring in parallel with Toroidal AC and LED DC drivers. But when using Milliamp mA LED drivers, they should always be
wired in series. Plug and Play kits are simply a case of daisy chaining the fittings via plug and play junction boxes,
connectors and extension cables using a 2-pin plug arrangement.Â
All exterior lights must be installed by a certified NIC EIC electrician and should be signed off by an electrician with
Part P certification. There are a selection of waterproof jointing kits and boxes available on this web site.
