This professional and robust in-ground bollard light has a Lighthouse head and in a graphite black finish.
This Professional ‘In-Ground’ Root Mount System is for areas needing extra security. Replacing
the standard tubular body and mounting base, the root mount bollards have longer bodies. At least 400mm secures / concretes in place without
losing any height above ground. A strong mounting bar inside the tubular body acts as an anchor when
set into concrete, whilst an optional secure cable outlet allows easy wiring after the bollard is fixed in place.

A choice of height is available: 600mm, 800mm or 1000mm – a height suitable for every application
such as driveways, paths and sectioned areas. There are also 3 styles. Graphite black finish is available as well as a choice of height (600mm, 800mm or 1000mm). Ideal for driveways and
paths, there are also 3 styles of head to choose from: ‘domed’, ‘pillar’ or ‘flat’ top. It also has an IK10 Rating for the body and IK08-09 for the Head (excluding the lens which is IK06 rated.  IK ratings
are levels of impact.  IK10 being the highest. 

The inbuilt photocell sensor

This automatically turns the bollard on when it detects dark (dusk) and off again when it detects light (dawn). This means
there is no need to remember to switch the fitting on and off manually, and results in less product maintenance. Fitted
with an E27 LED bulb holder, this photocell bollard is an ideal and effective way to reduce energy bills yet add security.

The head and 2.5mm thick extruded aluminium cylinder of the dusk to dawn bollard are heavy duty die-cast aluminium. All screws
are stainless steel, resulting in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive model.

The Lighthouse bollard has a clear, high quality UV stop PC diffuser surrounding the centre section of the head. This enables
an even all-round light dispersal and furthermore adds protection to the bulb installed. Further protection is given
by internal silver aluminium louvres. These add character to the bollard and importantly, act as anti-glare shields.

Choosing the style of a product is only part of the equation you must also think of where that product will be used and how it will be installed. All exterior lighting products on our web site have an IP rating appropriate to each light fitting and its intended application and is therefore fit for purpose. Water ingress is the enemy for outdoor lighting and the products supplied are only as good as the installation. The weakest point is always cable joints. All joints must be made 100% watertight and this can be done using IP68 cable connectors and/or waterproof junction boxes which are then filled with a re-enterable liquid gel mix. All joints where possible should be made above ground for easy access and reduced water ingress especially in clay-based soil areas. Mains 240v cable will have less joints than a low voltage installation but care must be taken with the cable runs. Cabling should be Rubber Butyl and not PVC. PVC leads to capillary action over time especially with UV degradation.

All exterior lights must be installed by a certified NIC EIC electrician and should be signed off by an electrician with Part P certification. There are a selection of waterproof jointing kits and boxes available on this web site.
