Elipta, compact, garden wall up / down light, black powder coat, mains 240v, GU10, 35w max

The E4432 Elipta Compact up/down light is a 240v wall or post mount model for fixed up/down lighting and grazing applications to create stylish wall illumination effects. 240v models utilise GU10 LED lamps which means there is no need for a bulky transformer base and they fit mains wiring points on house walls and pillars. 5w warm white colour temperature lamps may be needed to create a powerful effect on darker stone and brick walls, whereas 5w cool white colour temperature lamps are usually ideal for up/down lighting on lighter, rendered or stone walls. It has flush lenses which shed water and dirt and are easy to clean. Black powder-coated aluminium is a traditional recessive colour choice for garden settings

Lamp Colour (Kelvins)

The colour of a lamp is defined as a measurement called kelvins. A standard GLS light bulb in your house would be 2,700 kelvins
which is in the warm colour spectrum and a lamp with 5,000 kelvins would be at the very cold white spectrum.

The back plate screws to the wall and the body mounts onto the back plate with discrete allen key
grub screws at the side of the body for screw less frontal appearance. The body can be
rotated on the back plate before fully tightening grub screws to ensure the fitting is installed
level, or at any other angle required. Grommeted rear cable entry. Silicon seal back
plate fixings.
