Duomini – 2 way 316 Stainless Steel Step Light/ Recessed Ground – 12V Plug & Play=”title”>
The Duomini is a contemporary and elegant recessed light suitable for illuminating steps and outlining other areas in the
garden, mounted in the ground, walls or decking. It is made from high quality, stainless steel.
This is the smaller version of the Duomarka.
It has just a 54mm diameter cut out including the sleeve. Stands 86mm in the ground. Has a 3mm thickness lip. The dome of the bezel is 21mm in height and the overall diameter is 62mm.
Please Note – there is
limited room inside this fitting. We recommend purchasing the 2,5w MR11 LED as
this definitely fits.
This VERSA plug & play 12v recessed light couldn’t be simpler to install. The 1.5m cable supplied is capped with a 2 pin
plug which simply plugs directly into a transformer (or splitter if multiple fittings are installed), the transformer
plugs into a mains socket and it is ready to go.
Please note: This fitting must be installed with the mounting sleeve and additional rubber seal. If the sleeving and seal is not used, the Guarantee will be void. Not for use in areas prone to water-logging or flooding.
The robust black plastic sleeve will be built into the wall during construction or retrofitted into a drilled out hole. The main part of the light then pushes into the tube, where it is held firmly in place by internal gripping ‘teeth’ (see detailed image), leaving only the streamline front dome on show.
Installation 12v
Choosing the style of a product is only part of the equation you must also think of where that product will be used and how
it will be installed. All exterior lighting products on our web site have an IP rating appropriate to each light fitting
and its intended application and is therefore fit for purpose. Water ingress is the enemy for outdoor lighting and the
products supplied are only as good as the installation. The weakest point is always cable joints. Plug and Play kits are simply a case of daisy chaining the fittings via plug and play junction boxes,
connectors and extension cables using a 2-pin plug arrangement. These Plug and Play fittings should only be used for
small domestic projects due to voltage drop over 5 metres.
