Cubik – Outdoor Recessed Light – 304 Stainless Steel 12v Plug & Play IP67 Fixed Up Light

The 12v ‘Cubik’ is a large square stainless steel ( 5mm thick) topped recessed light with a protective hard ABS
sleeve. The bulb is housed in a diecast aluminium casing. It is ideal for mounting in the ground to add an edging
to areas of the garden, patio or driveway, whether being mounted into block paving, decking or any other materials. The
versatile Cubik can also be used as a recessed wall light, or as a step light. The smooth, stainless steel finish
creates a modern and streamline look which is highly durable . (Rated IP67).

Not for use in areas prone to waterlogging or flooding

The use of a LED MR16 bulb is recommended which saves energy, lasts at least 10 times longer and therefore requires less
maintenance than a Halogen MR16..

12v Installation

Choosing the style of a product is only part of the equation you must also think of where that product will be used and how
it will be installed. All exterior lighting products on our web site have an IP rating appropriate to each light fitting
and its intended application and is therefore fit for purpose. Water ingress is the enemy for outdoor lighting and the
products supplied are only as good as the installation. The weakest point is always cable joints. All joints must be
made 100% watertight and this can be done using IP68 cable connectors and/or waterproof junction boxes which are then
filled with a re-enterable liquid gel mix.
