The Big Theo modern wall mounted traditional box styled luminaire. Uses GU10 socket QPAR111 punchy LED lamps. Twin beam luminaire in a stylish precision made aluminium body with a silver grey powder coated finish for durability.  Developed and despatched from Germany. You will need 2 x QPAR111 lamps, one for upward light and the other for downward light.  The beauty of the LED lamps is they are interchangeable with a variety of beam angles and lumen outputs. They give an amazing wall wash effect up wards and illuminate a pathway below. Part of a family of luminaires and is also available as a down light only or a surface mounted light for under canopies.  Available in white code 229571, Grey code 229574 and Anthracite code 229575.

Lamp Colour (Kelvins)

The colour of a lamp is defined as a measurement called kelvins. A standard GLS light bulb in your house would be 2,700 kelvins
which is in the warm colour spectrum and a lamp with 6,000 kelvins would be at the very cold white spectrum. 

    Installation  

All exterior lighting should be installed by a PART P,  NIC EIC certified electrical contractor to ensure a
safe and 100% dry cable joint installation.

Choosing the style of a product is only part of the equation you must also think of where that product will be used and
how it will be installed. All exterior lighting products on our web site have a IP rating which is explained further
in our design ideas section but in simple terms the IP rating is appropriate to each light fitting and its intended
application and is therefore fit for purpose.
