AlvaLED – 316 Stainless Steel IP65 240v Max Wattage GU10 Twin Headed Spike Spotlight
The AlvaLED Adjustable Twin Spike Light is a smart, modern garden spotlight. As well as this version with a GU10 bulb holder. Two adjustable spotlight heads attach to the twin adaptor
and will shine in almost any direction to create various visual lighting effects. Both spotlights in the same position
will generate a stronger, more concentrated beam. Position the heads at different angles to create dramatic up-lighting
in two directions. Each spotlight head is also adjustable over 180 degrees. The twin adaptor attaches to the substantial,
400mm pole of the same finish. This attaches to the 4 fin ground spike which provides extra stability with minimal movement
in soft ground. This is particularly beneficial for adding height in areas of high planting or exposed areas which require
a particularly sturdy mount.
As each fitting has a GU10 bulb holder, the choice of LED lamps one can use is good. Specifications such as lumen output,
wattage and colour temperature are interchangeable to create the desired effect.
Also available in 12v and other colour finishes. This looks great in daylight and disappears in darkness.
This 240v fitting takes 2 x GU10 LED bulbs (not supplied) and comes supplied with 1m of 3 core 0.75mm HO5RN-F cable and
a 4 fin aluminium anchor spike for more robust stability. The pole length is 400mm x 25mm diameter and the
spike length is 165mm. The twin adaptor length is 120mm. Head length is 135mm (fully extended) and the Head
diameter is 60mm.
Lamp Colour (Kelvins)
The colour of a lamp is defined as a measurement called kelvins. A standard GLS light bulb in your house would be 2,700
kelvins which is in the warm colour spectrum and a lamp with 5,000 kelvins would be at the very cold white spectrum.

All exterior lighting products on our website have an IP rating which is explained further in our Technical Help/Products
section but in simple terms the IP rating is appropriate to each light fitting and its intended application and is therefore
fit for purpose. Water ingress is the enemy for outdoor lighting and the products supplied are only as good as the installation
as the weakest point is always cable joints. All joints must be made 100% water tight and this can be done using IP68
inline connectors, waterproof junction boxes which are then filled with a resin or gel mix. All joints where possible
should be made above ground for easy access and reduced water ingress. When installing ground buried lights adequate
drainage systems should be put in place especially in clay based soil areas.
